Tree Removal
Vancouver, WA Tree Removal
Although caring for your trees is our primary passion, tree removal is an unavoidable reality of our business. Not every tree is right for the place in which it was planted; it may be damaged, diseased, or dead and pose a hazard to people or property; it may have been a poor choice for the location and now has out grown its space, or it may be in the way of a new building project.
When a tree does have to be removed, Droptop Tree can provide a safe and low impact service that will leave your yard and landscape intact.
Felling
When space and landscape features permit it, felling is often the safest and most efficient method of getting a tree down. At least one staff member on each job that requires felling is trained in the latest techniques and mechanical assistance is often utilized to ensure proper placement of the tree.
Take Down
In areas where space is limited, crew members are trained in a variety of techniques to ensure a safe and controlled removal. Aerial work in sensitive areas is performed by climbing. When space is the primary limiting factor, trees can be climbed and pieced down in sizes appropriate for the given space.
Crane Removal
In extreme cases with large trees, a crane may be used to assist in the removal of a tree or limb. We use state-of-the-art techniques and equipment to remove hazardous trees safely and efficiently. In fact, we can often save our customers money by utilizing a crane due to the time saved by removing larger pieces of the tree quickly.
Rigging
When there are landscape or other hazards beneath the tree, ropes and special friction devices can be used to lower limbs and pieces into a specified area in a controlled manner called rigging. This ensures that no damage will be done to structures or other obstructions beneath the tree.
